This policy applies to every consumer transaction on the nationwide group platforms — travel (trips.bd, plans.bd, villas.bd, hostel.bd), property (houses.bd, room.bd, penthouse.bd, 2let.bd) and wellness (spa.bd, calm.bd). All refunds clear through 1pay.bd.
Cancellation windows follow the supplier's published policy, disclosed at checkout. Free-cancel rates are explicitly marked. When a supplier fails to honour a confirmed booking, we refund from 1pay.bd escrow within 3 working days and recover from the supplier separately — you are not asked to wait.
Tenancy deposits sit in 1pay.bd escrow for the life of the tenancy. Release is governed by the tenancy contract and the Premises Rent Control Act, 1991 — not landlord discretion. Deduction disputes go through the 14-day mediation process on msg.bd before any funds move.
The same escrow rules apply regardless of length. A one-week sublet has the same deposit protection as a one-year lease.
spa.bd single sessions: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment. calm.bd multi-day programmes: cancellation windows are programme-specific and disclosed at booking; deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of programme start.
Refunds return to the original payment method (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, card, bank transfer) within 7-14 working days of approval. Cross-border card refunds may take longer per issuer timelines.
Confirmed fraudulent activity — impersonation, forged documents, unauthorised card use — voids the transaction and any refund is issued to the true account holder, not the fraudulent party. Chargebacks are contested with full 1pay.bd transaction records.
Natural disaster, government order, or supplier insolvency triggers full refunds from escrow where funds are still held. Where funds have already cleared to the supplier, we recover on your behalf via msg.bd escalation.
Government-collected taxes (VAT, bed tax) already remitted to authorities are not refundable. Third-party processing fees clearly disclosed at checkout are not refundable.

সরবরাহকারী বুকিং বাতিল করলে বা প্রতিশ্রুতি পূরণে ব্যর্থ হলে, 1pay.bd এসক্রো থেকে ৩ কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে রিফান্ড হয় — গ্রাহক অপেক্ষা করে না। চার্জব্যাক পূর্ণ লেনদেন রেকর্ড সহ প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করা হয়।
